History

The beginnings of the company date back to 1975, when Ostrc Venčeslav founded a company offering TOOLING SERVICES, however, he never actually offered tool manufacturing, except to meet his own demand. The company predominantly
manufactured agricultural machines, such as grain crushers, turnip slicers, manual fertilizer spreaders, corn peeling machine, cutting components for beet harvesters, rotary cultivators...

Additionally, they also manufactured antenna towers for cabling, smaller parts for antenna arrays, predominantly for the companies Elektrokovina and Elrad. At the beginning of the 1990s, most of the companies they provided certain components to ceased their operations, causing the company to lose most of its market overnight. It reacted by focusing on metal frames for staircases, railings, canopies, and various small metal products.

In 1996, a new company Strojno Ključavničarstvo Matjaž Ostrc s.p. was founded at the same location. It manufactured metal roof structures, metal frames for halls, etc.
In 2002, the production facilities were expanded.
In 2004, the company started cooperating with the Austrian company STAGEPartner GmbH, for which it manufactures mobile event stages, stands, LED video walls, etc.
In 2007, the production hall was expanded.
In 2008, new office facilities, locker rooms, and a part of the warehouse were constructed.
In 2010, the company OSTRC d.o.o. was incorporated taking over the entire operations.
In 2012, we obtained funds and purchased a sheet metal cutting and bending machine, a state-of-the-art 3D design software and more.
The SIST EN 1090 certificate was obtained in 2014.
In 2016, we became co-owners of the Austrian company Stagepartner mobile event solutions GmbH, which develops and sells mobile event stages, stands, etc.
